The Dress
Beautiful Daalarna Couture RPS 177 wedding dress.
This dress has two layers beneath the gorgeous silk organza cut out flowers as the top layer. The front of the dress includes all three layers, whereas the back of the dress only has the top layer until the waist line. The top layer is ivory, the second layer has a pinkish blush, which complemented my colouring and the third layer is white.
I didn't think I would wear a dress like this on my wedding day but when I saw the sleeves poking out at me in Hope X Page I had to try it on. Once on, it made me feel so beautiful and feminine without being over the top.
Alterations
I had the sleeves altered to reduce the puff (as well as underarm holes cut out) as it was too much for my small frame but otherwise we made no adjustments other than the hemline and sewing in breast cups. On my wedding day someone did step on my dress, which resulted in a small tear, which has since been fixed at the dry cleaners.
