The Dress

Jenny Packham - Pippa - Size 10

This dress was bought from the Jenny Packham store in Mayfair. The only alterations I had to it were to make it a tiny bit shorter in the body and the length of the dress. I'm 5'7" and I wore probably about 2 inch heels and it was just about perfect. The alterations assistant at Jenny Packham also added a loop in the back of the dress so that you can gather it up and put the loop
around your wrist for dancing (I've included some photos so that you can see how it looks).

The dress is a combination of two other Jenny Packham dresses, so it's very similar to the Carrie or Dallas but with a slightly more flowing skirt - which suited me because I like my waist but not my hips or thighs!

I would say that I am normally a size 8/10 top and a size 10/12 bottom half so this fitted me quite nicely with the more fitted top and flowing skirt.

It really is the most beautiful dress, I've had so many lovely comments from friends and family on it. I would just like someone else to be able to enjoy it on their special day as much as I did. My wedding was in October and I was neither too warm nor too cold at any point. It was super easy to wear all day and to dance in all evening - it still looked goregous by the end of the evening and really is very comfortable and practical (I know not everyone's priority - but it was one of mine!!!).

I took the dress back to Jenny Packham to have it dry cleaned. It comes with spare beads, if you need them.

There is no damage and all of the beads remain on the dress.
