The Dress
Wore at my wedding and it made me feel gorgeous! Lace is in excellent condition and lots of tulle underneath. Some of the tulle may be torn but absolutely none of it shows (I stepped on my dress a couple of times when I was dancing). I had tulle put on for sleeves but the dress comes without so they were removed right after the wedding. Would look amazing with a belt!
Alterations
I am 5”3-5”4 so the dress was altered for my height (wearing 2 inch heels). In order to not cut or alter the lace though, we just sewed the lace up around the belt line with a small stitch that can easily be taken out. Everything else underneath the lace was cut to length professionally.
