The Dress

It was love at first sight for me and this dress – totally wowed by the back and the train!

The dress: Willowby by Watters - Ridley 58410 - Stunningly understated and chic with beautiful details. Modern and trendy laser cut lace – attracted many compliments from our guests – that epic train!
The dress is super comfortable and easy to move in, with the fit and flare style flattering many body shapes.

Story: I wore two different looks on my wedding day - as per Meghan Markle ;) The fuller skirted traditional bridal look for the ceremony (see pics 6, 7 & 8 – contact me if interested in the skirt) and more modern / boho look for the evening - without having to pay for two dresses.

Dress measurements: The label is US size 8 – however the brand sizes come up small, I made alterations to reduce the waist and bust. Would fit a typical AU size 10/12. My measurements when dress was worn: Bust – 35.5” (90cm), Natural waist - 30” (76cm), Hip – 40.5”(103cm), Height – 5 foot 85” (178cm)- I wore flats.

Condition: Worn for 6 hours in June 2018, in wonderful condition with no damage to the lace.

Alterations

Taken in slightly at the waist and chest, thin cups added for shape (easily removable), straps lowered so you can see them from the side (easily altered back), length of skirt is untouched and as sold (I wore flat shoes), discrete button added for bustle.
